" If I could have a star for every time you made me smile, I would have the entire night sky in the palm of my hand."

To The Ground

The house.... in flames. Who? What? How? Where is Hayden..? Oh my god.. Hayden!! I started running twards the house, only to get stopped by Mr. Dug, one of the best cops in town.

" No, but... Hayden!!" I screamed. I wanted.. no I needed to know that he was alright. I had to see his face to know he was ok.

"Miss Lydia, I'm sorry but I can't let you through. We are doing all we can, and we will find Hayden don't you worry." He started, but I cut him off.

"Worry! Worry! Don't worry! How bout I stick your wife in a house full of flames, and gasses! Then tell me, not to worry!" This had to be a joke, don't worry. Who does he think he is? All of a sudden, 2 fire fighters came out of the burning ashes holding a limp body. " Hayden!" I screamed. This time Mr. Dug let me go. When I got to him, he was lying on a bed, covered in ashes.

" Never * cough * falls alseep while backing something." He chocked. I looked all over his face for some hope, but nothing. I grabbed his face gently, and put our forheads together.

"Don't you ever make me leave you. I'm so glad you are ok. " I whimpered. I hate to see him hurt... let alone all over. I had to let go, because the officers where going to take him to the hospital.

I watched them go, waving till I couldn't see them no more. I looked up at the sky, the stars were coming out. As my eyes grazed the sky, I spotted a shooting star. Closing my eyes, I wished long and hard for the one thing that I want.
