So yes, night academy is strictly for ghosts. Which means no ghouls or goblins or poltergeists. For some reason people insist on confusing  us.  we're relatively nice, but some people died vicious and, trust me, they always will be. Like Jessica Morton, she has some level of a god complex, and to her there is no other way but her own. I won't lie i can be bitchy sometimes, but hey, isn't everyone. She, and everyone else for that matter, tends to hate what has formed into my family, the only one who does accept us is nicks boyfriend Eric. All they want is there old life back and to be alive, but the four of us committed suicide, all on the same day too. That's how we met, we all took the tour together, and were sort of drawn to each other. I guess it was because we looked the same, we each had at least one facial piercing, Jake and i had snake bites, Nick  had a bridge piercing, and liziee had one angel  bite. We each talked about how we did the deed of killing ourselves, we all automatically connected. I secretly think nick regrets it though, his mind is always somewhere else, its hard but fun to make him smile. He hung himself in his closest. I personally drowned myself in my backyard pool, Liziee O.D. on her moms meds, and Jake stole his dads hand gun and shot himself through his mouth.

Anyway back to the tour, we were lead around by the head mistress (who had a scythe, i mean how awesome is that!) she couldn't have been more than 23 when she passed. She had a short black bob, and beautiful red eyes, she looked surprisingly similar to Nick. He had black hair and green eyes, but their facial structures were almost identical. She showed us the school and explained possible courses to take. The only required classes were history, cloaking, and guardian studies. History was about famous hauntings, pretty cool actually. Cloaking was how to hide yourself around the living. Yes we are around them all the time, i visit my old best friend a lot actually. I miss her and she seems to be doing fine without me but at least i have Lizzie. The rest of the classes were optional, classes like art, music, drama, and FCS seemed fun to me. You could take normal classes like math and science if you wanted to, but between art and math? No competition for me. And yes we can touch solid objects like pencils and paper, we don't go through it, you just have to be good at manipulating the molecules in your body to make yourself solid. You learn that in cloaking too.

Guardian studies is the whole reason we're here. After 5 years at night academy you become a guardian of one of the living. No, we're not angels, far from it. As a guardian it is your job to guide and protect your "assignment." the rules are simple, under NO circumstances do you reveal your self to them, don't become emotionally attached, and you help them make good choices. They still have free will though, so its not mind control or anything. After they pass on you are reborn, so basically its reincarnation.  Im was my second year, but something weird was going on. When you're in your fifth year you be begin to hear your assignments thoughts. But i began way early.
