Damon yawned as he read his book in front of the fireplace.  He smiled and snorted amusedly whenever he found something funny.  Xeann approached him and took it away from him, enticing a small annoyed moan from him.  She held out a set of black claws and Damon sighed as he lifted his hand up so she could attach them to him.

“Good boy,” Xeann praised with a proud smile and patted his head fondly “Come on now, let’s go outside.”

Damon jumped off the sofa and followed his mother outside, gently flexing his claws curiously.

Damon smiled as he doodled on the rim of his History book.  When he looked up, he blinked as his father looked at his work and raised a disapproving eyebrow.

“That is not the way to treat your schoolbook and that is not the five-hundred word essay you promised your History teacher,” he said and Damon hunched his shoulders.

“Sorry, father,” he said as he focused on doing his work again.

His father smiled softly and ruffled his hair before leaving him alone.

“Just leave me alone, Seito!”

“No way.”

Damon yelped as his elder half-brother tackled him to the ground and they rolled down the hillside beside them.  Seito chuckled in amusement as they landed in the wet grass, Damon groaning in discomfort.

“You’re the worse half-brother ever,” he complained and Seito hugged him tightly.

“You’re the best half-brother ever,” he purred and snuggled his face into Damon’s chest.

Damon lay on the wet grass as Seito lay his ear on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

“Listen, Seito, it looks like it’s going to rain, can we please go inside now?”

“No, not until you stop ruining the moment.”

Damon groaned tiredly while Seito chuckled and sighed contently.

“I want to get married, I want to get married, I want to get married,” Seito chanted as he bounced up and down on Damon after a session of love-making.

“Seito, we can’t get married,” Damon groaned into his pillow.

“Come on!  We look nothing alike!  The vicar won’t suspect anything!”

“Do you know any vicars that will do gay marriages?”

“No, but you’re pretty convincing when we squeeze you into a dress,” Seito grinned and Damon lifted his head up in horror.

“No…” he said softly and Seito hugged him tightly.

“Yes!”

“No!  MUM, DAD, HELP!!!!!”

“Who’s my little girl?” Seito cooed as he blew raspberries on his adopted daughter’s belly.

The young infant, Lakeshia, giggled, waving her tiny hands and feet in the air with an amused gurgle.  Damon walked in with their adopted son, Locke, in his arms, smiling softly when he saw Seito playing with Lakeshia.

“You spoil her,” he said as Seito tossed her in the air “You’re so much like dad.”

Seito grinned and walked over to Damon, kissing him passionately.  Locke gurgled with a curious look on his face and Seito poked his nose.  Damon smiled to himself softly and kissed Seito on the cheek before setting Locke in the high chair so he could feed him.
