Across town Phoenix was waking up. Naked. Next to a girl she'd met for the first time the night before. Shit. She thought to herself. Why does this always happen to me? She
decided to try to make a break for it. Slowly she pushed the girls blue comforter off of herself and put her feet to the wooden floor. She crept quietly across the room picking up various pieces of
her clothing along the way. She slipped them on and then carefully pushed the door open. It creaked.
"Where are you going?"
Damnit. Phoenix turned around and flashed her gorgeous smile. "I was just going to get some breakfast for us..."
"Oh, okay... be back soon?"
"Of course. 15 minutes tops."
As soon as she got out of the girl's front door she pulled our her cellphone and dialed Ayden's number. "You know this is what happens when I go out on gay night with you guys. I end up in some random girl's bed! And I don't even remember her name!"
Ayden laughed. "You're kind of a slut. At least there's no way you're pregnant!"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just don't understand it. You sleep with more women than some lesbians I know." She paused. "Are you sure that you're not at least a little bit gay?"
"Yes. I'm sure. But the alcohol takes over and I can't turn off the flirting. You know me... I love flirting no matter who it's with. It just gets out of control sometimes." Phoenix defended herself.
"You know it's girls like you that give lesbians a bad name, don't you?"
"So you've said."
"Anyway, what're you going to do?"
"Right now I'm buying breakfast." She pulled into the nearest parking spot she could find to the building. "At McDonald's."
"Oh, come on! Everyone likes McDonald's breakfast!"
"Except vegetarians. I'm just surprised you're going back."
"She did catch me halfway out the door. Hey, hold on a sec. Hi, yeah can I just get a Deluxe Breakfast Platter, two sausage biscuits, four hash-browns and a couple of coffees? Thanks."
"Damn. Think you got enough food?"
"Yes, well, we did have some pretty hardcore sex last night if I remember correctly. She's probably hungry." The cashier handed her her change and food.
"True. But Phoenix? Don't lead her on."
"Okay, okay, just let her down easy. Please?"
"I will. I'm buying her breakfast! Alright I'll call you later and let you know how it goes."
"Mhmm, because breakfast totally makes up for fucking her and then telling her you're straight... Good luck! Talk to you later, babe."
