Hey, this is my first Booksie post and its to see what you guys think of this. Now, this is the extract for my first book in the 'Forbidden Triology' but it feels like I'm writing the second. The stories are based around Elle Hawthorne, a newly turned Immortal and a new member to the Forbiddens, a group of students at Rosewood Boarding school. Enjoy and tell my what you think!

Chapter One

I immediately shifted my gaze as the sun pushed its way through the now opened curtains. The sun was brighter than I was used to, which I guess is what you should expect now the process was done. I slowly sat up, clutching my head as I got slightly dizzy. I was un-aware of the people stood around me, but they were easily recognizable – The Forbiddens.

The Forbiddens were the group at Rosewood Boarding School who were mysterious, secretive and were incredibly beautiful. They’re pale skin matched their hair colour and they seemed to have a soft beauty, no matter how dangerous they come off to be. However, nobody knows their secret; except me. The Forbiddens were immortal, they could never die and they could never be injured. Each member possess a power for example the first member, Lila (which means night), possesses the ability to control one’s thoughts and manipulate them.

My hearing was stronger and my sight was clearer and sharper. The process I just completed was the Immortality process; meaning I was now officially an Immortal and part of the Forbiddens. If you saw me before the process, you could have easily thought I was already an Immortal. I had pale skin and a small figure, with dark red hair and brown eyes. It wasn’t orange type red; it’s like a velvet red colour.

Parts of my human life were blurry, like the accident I was in when I was four that killed my parents. I was about to stand when someone placed their hand on my shoulder; it was Seth. He’s the male leader.

“The process is complete, Elle, and may I add your appearance has changed quite a bit.” He smiled lightly. It was true, I looked across the room to the mirror and saw me reflection. My once red hair was now a silvery blonde and went down to my lower back; my brown eyes had lightened, making them look gold.

“I’ll have to re-enrol at Rosewood; people won’t believe I’m Elle Hawthorne.” I muttered.

“Correct, Elle. However you can keep your name, just say you are different person.” Lila suggested.

“How will people believe two people can have the same name?” I questioned, before walking to the window. I was dressed in a soft knee-length black dress and black flats.

“It has been done before; it’s what had to be done for Lila, Elle. Everything will work, however we need to cover up the fact the human you left.” Seth said.

“That’s easily done; now we must leave Elle to change and come down to meet the others.” Lila said, and then pulled Seth out the room.
