? Whose Girl Is That (: Haha - Sorry, that song is stuck in my HEAD xD

--

My bedroom door creaks open, and then the light turns on. I quickly slam my eyes shut and stuff a pillow over my face. "Wake up, Taylor." I sigh at the sound of my dad's voice. Last night when I came home, my mom lectured me about running off so quickly after coming home from school without letting them know where I was going. After awhile, she calmed down since it was the first day of school and she figured I just wanted to talk to some of my friends about it. Yea...that's totally what happened, mom.

"Give me five more minutes."

"No. C'mon, get up." He yanks my covers from my body and cool air hits me. I sigh and take the pillow from my face. "Taylor, don't make me drag your ass up out of this bed." I look up at my dad's face and he is serious. Swinging my legs over onto the floor, I stand up without responding to him. "I'm about to go to work and your mom already left."

"Okay. Bye."

I trudge into the bathroom and lock the door behind me. Flicking on the light, I stare at my reflection in the mirror and frown. Bedhead is not attractive on anybody, and I most definitely hate it on me. I turn on the warm water and splash some on my face. Some of the water gets into my eyes and goes up my nose and I begin to wheeze uncontrollably. Dammit. I search around the bathroom before coming to a towel and I dab my face. Once I control my wheezing, I take a deep breath and step out of the bathroom.

I'll eat breakfast first and then get ready. I personally don't feel like going to school. Over the summer I stayed up late and slept in, so this new pattern is really irritating. I guess I'll have to get used to it. Walking down the steps into the kitchen, Jake is sitting in his usual breakfast spot crunching on some cereal. He glances up at me and sighs. "You need to get ready, Taylor."

"I will after I eat."

"Grumpy much?" He smirks.

I decide not to respond to him and grab the cereal box. I pour myself some milk in a bowl, and then the colorful cereal. Milk splashes up and I quickly move so it doesn't get on me.

"Morning, Telly."

I turn my head as Sam walks. He is wearing a pair of dark gray jeans and a black hoodie. Sam sometimes spend a night over here when he doesn't feel like going home (most of the time), so it's now like this is his second home. "Hey, Sam." I smile at him before glancing back at my bowl of cereal. "Toss me a spoon."

Sam walks over to the drawer full of silverware and tosses me a spoon. "You know you only have like..." He glances at his watch on his wrist and then back up to me, "10 minutes."

I shrug my shoulders, "I'll be ready. Gosh."

"No, you won't. You shower, twenty five minutes. You do your hair, ten minutes. You find an outfit, twenty minutes. You fix your face, ten minutes." Jake says, leaning his elbows on the counter.

"That is not true! I guess I'll just shorten my outift choosing and showering time, and I'll be out soon."

Quickly, I stuff some more cereal in my mouth and crunch down. When I am down, I empty my stuff in the sink, "Give me ten minutes. On the dot." I mumble before I begin climbing the steps. I grab a wash cloth and towel and head into the bathroom. Turning the water on full blast, I strip down while its warming up.

I pull my hair out of the ponytail it's in and climb into the shower.

It takes me about three minutes to shower and I decide to leave my hair wavy to shorten time. Wrapping the towel tightly around my body, I grab my pajamas and head to my bedroom. "Three minutes!" I call down the steps to the guys.

"Four actually!" I hear Sam call up with a laugh in his voice.

I roll my eyes and shut my door behind me. Going over to my drawer, I toss my pajamas on my bed and then I dig through my drawer. I select to put on my yellow boy short undies and matching bra. I drape my towel over the drying rack and then go over to my closet to try and decide what outfit to wear. It takes me about two minutes to decide on a pair of yellow skinny jeans and a light pink camisole. I decide on some light pink gladiator sandals on my feet.

Since I am letting my hair stay wavy, I go brush my teeth, and then put on some face lotion, sparkly pink lipgloss and pearl studs. Smiling at myself in my full length mirror, I examine my outfit. A knock startles me from my gaze and I look over at my bedroom door. When it opens, Sam's face pops in. "Are you ready?"

"Yep. Time?"

He looks at his watch and a grin comes over his face. "Eleven minutes, told you."

I roll my eyes, "Whatever, Sam!" I turn around so that he can see my outfit. "How do I look?"

His eyes scan over my body and I wait for his answer. "C'mon, Jake is in the car." He doesn't comment on my outfit, but just backs out of my room and I hear his steps going down the steps. Frowning, I glance at myself in the mirror again and decide that I look fine. Grabbing my totebag and purse, I shut my door behind me and go down the steps.

Thankfully, I don't have to be careful with heels today.

I go out of the back door and lock it behind me. Jake's car is parked in the driveway and I swing open the back door. "You didn't answer me, Sam. How do I look?" I stare at him for a moment, but he still doesn't respond.

"You look fine, Taylor. Calm down." He chuckles after a moment.

Jake pulls out of the driveway and starts down the street.

"You know...I can't wait until Friday for the party. My dress is hot and I bet Danny will like it." I smirk, knowing that Jake is getting irritated by the minute. They would find out about the dress later on, so why not tell them in advance. They can get their little freakout over and then it'll be done.

"Uh--I doubt that. Danny only likes two types of dresses." Jake smirks. "All lace or nude."

I roll my eyes at him. "All guys like those dresses! And for your information,my dress is all lace."

Jake and Sam spin around to face me with shock in their eyes. Jake eventually turns back to face the road, and I burst out laughing. "You're lying, Telly." He says, but his eyes have doubt in them. I shake my head.

"Nope. It's black, lacy, and the back is exposed down to above my butt." I tease, looking at Sam's reaction. I don't need to see Jake's face to know he is spazzing out over what I'm say. I decide to leave out the part about the padding because it'll ruin all the fun. "It's really sexy and I'll be wearing some amazing stilettos that show off my sexy--"

"Shut up." Jake snaps. I toss my head back in laughter. "That's why your not going."

"And who's stopping me?"

"Me."

"Like that will do anything."

Jake sighs and glares at me through the mirror. "You are not going, Taylor. That's a slut dress."

I roll my eyes. Second day of school and I'm already being labeled as a slut by my brother. Wow. Classic. "Whatever. You're just mad because I'm going to get more action than you are." I laugh, covering my mouth.

"Taylor. You. Are. Not. Going. To. This. Fucking. Party!" Jake yells.

My eyes widen at his voice. I guess I pushed it because Jake has never yelled at me like that. "I'm just playing, Jake. My dress has padding underneath. Gosh! Chill out." I cross my arms and stare out the window. "And stop looking like that Sam. I'm not a slut."

He rolls his eyes. "I never said you were, but are you serious about the dress?"

"Did you not hear me? I said it has padding under it."

Sam rolls his eyes and turns back in his seat. "Uh-huh."

--

I cross my arms as I wait on the field for Danny to come out of the building. He texted me about a million times through my first classes until I agreed to meet him so that we can go to this special restaurant. I begged Emily to come, but she refused to leave the building, especially since we learned that only Upperclassmen are allowed to. Danny jogs out of the back doors with the same guys from yesterday next to him.

He spots me and heads my way. "Hey, mamacita." He grins, pulling me into a hug.

Ah. He smells like a lemon. A smile spreads across my face at his scent. "Hi." I mentally slap myself for not saying anything else besides hi. "Uh...are we walking, or....?"

Danny dangles a pair of keys in front of me and I nod my head. "You're riding with me while everyone else has their own cars." He points to the guys behind him. "Okay. This is Lamar. Cody. Eric and Trent." They all look at me with stupid grins on their faces. I roll my eyes. Dogs.

Lamar is muscular, sandy brown hair, honey eyes and tan. Cody mimics Lamar's image only with golden brown eyes. So I am going to figure that they are twins. If not, this is oddly creepy. Eric has jet black hair, blue eyes, and very tanned skin. Trent has red hair, brown eyes, a tan, and has dimple piercings. Fuck. Dimple piercings are always the hottest on guys. If only Danny had them. I glance up at Danny, and imagine him with dimple piercings.

The image pops in my head and I suck in a breath. Glancing back at the guys, I wave. "Hey." Okay so you can give them a hey, but only a hi to Danny, I yell at myself mentally. "What is the name of this place that we're going to?" I ask.

"We'll meet you there." Danny says to the guys before he starts to pull me away to his car. "It's a surprise. You'll love it though."

"How do you-"

Danny places his hand over my mouth. "Why do you ask so many questions?" He asks, grinning.

I shrug my shoulders. "I've been told it's annoying."

He nods. "Very."

Danny opens the car door for me and I slide in. I wait for him to get in the drivers seat. "You're very blunt." I mutter, winding down the window. I guess being blunt is attractive, yet annoying. It's rude how he just agreed to that. I mean...when you're just getting to know someone, shouldn't you be a little more thoughtful?

"Yea. I tell the truth, that way later on it won't hurt."

"Oh..." I bite my lip as he yanks his car out of park and drives out of the parking lot. I notice a few of the guys cars driving behind us. "How come I'm the only girl going?"

Danny raises his eyebrow, "Well...Lamar just broke up with his girlfriend, Cody doesn't have a girlfriend, Eric didn't invite his girlfriend and I think Karen, Trent's girlfriend, is sick." He says, raising his eyebrows toward me. "Is this awkward?"

"Sort of."

Danny grins before placing his hand on my thigh. My cheeks turn a heavy red and my ears start to burn as I blush. "It's cute how you blush, Taylor." He grins, rubbing circles on my thigh with his thumb. "And is Jake bringing you on Friday to the party?"

I shake my head. "He says I can't go...so I was going to ask if you could take me and Em?"

"Sure. Emily can be Cody's date."

I roll my eyes. "I think she likes my brother." I smirk.

"Like you like Sam?"

My cheeks flush color when he says that. How does he know? "How do you know that?"

Danny lets out a chuckle, "Your brother told everybody on the team. Him and Sam joke about it and shit." I bite my lip. I'm going to kick Jake's butt when I get home. He is so dead. Him and Sam. "I think it's kind of cute though. But it's sad that you can't anymore, since your taken."

I glance over at Danny. "Taken? I never agreed to being your girlfriend."

He smirks. "You didn't have, too."

"What do you mean I didn't have to? Yes! I think I do have to agree to something like that." I snap, crossing my arms. "I haven't even known you for barely a day and your telling me I'm your girlfriend!"

"You acted like you were interested in me, so yea. I claimed you as mine."

I close my eye. I suck in a deep breath of air, and let it out slowly. "I don't get bossed around. And what do you mean claimed? I am not a lost and found item! I would like a choice on if I am your girlfriend or not."

Danny chuckles. "But you don't have one. Now, c'mon. Relax...enjoy the lunch and calm down, babe." He says, stopping the car. I look around and we are parked in front of a white brick building. It has a few windows and a few cars are parked outside. Food wafts in the air and I eye Danny. I didn't know he wasthis bossy. Besides the fact that he basically ordered me here, which I thought was him just being flirty. When I don't respond, he leans over and turns my face towards him. "Please?"

"Okay." I mumble.

He shakes his head. "No. I want to see a smile." He says, grabbing my mouth and pushing up so a smile would form. He raises his eyebrows in a pleading look.

I roll my eyes and sigh. "Yay!" I force a smile and clap my hands. He chuckles before climbing out his side of the car. I get out of my side and shut the door behind me.

The thought of Danny telling me I have to be his girlfriend plays in my mind. I've never let a guy (including my brother and his best friend) boss me around, so why am I letting Danny. You're so stupid ,I yell at myself mentally, This isn't going to play out well and you know it! So why are you doing this, TAYLOR! I ignore my thoughts and walk ahead to meet Danny and his friends. Danny motions me through as he swings the door open.

"Thanks." I say, walking through the door. You're stupid Taylor, My mind yells at me. I ignore the voice and keep walking into the restaurant.
