I woke up but I couldn’t see. I put my hands over my eyes and ripped the blindfold off of me. I could finally see. I was in a prison cell. I was sealed in by the black metal bars. I got up and started to walk about. I could only take small steps as my ankles were chained together. I was hungry. I could feel the unbearable pain in my stomach because of lack of food. I was all alone no one could help me now. I started to shake the door. It was loose and started to rattle.  I let out a scream. The loudest scream I have ever done. Then I heard footsteps. They sounded like they were coming down steps. The footsteps were getting louder. The person was getting closer whoever it was. Then this body emerged round the corner and faced the cell. He was a soldier. He had scruffy black hair and an unshaven beard. He looked really distressed but in control. He was holding handcuffs in one hand and keys in another.

He took the keys and unlocked the cell. I started to walk backwards slowly. The nerves were kicking in again. The soldier grabbed me by the arm and dragged me towards him. He had a firm pull. He put the handcuffs on me and told me to walk. I walked out of the cell. Then he pulled out a gun and held it at my back. Then he told me to continue to walk. I could feel the gun digging into my back. I walked up the stony slippery steps of the prison into the daylight. As soon as we stepped outside I had to close my eyes because of the burning of the sunlight. He led me over to a shed. There was other soldier’s there as well. The soldier behind me released me of the handcuffs when we were with the other soldiers. They all grabbed me at once and dragged me into the shed.

They tied me to something. I couldn’t move. Then a soldier wearing a different uniform to all the other soldiers came forward. He had medals pinned onto his uniform. I guess that he was the boss. He asked for the information. I shook my head to tell him that I didn’t know what he was on about. He said that I had ten seconds to tell him what he wanted to know. He didn’t say what would happen to me if I didn’t tell him anything. I stayed silent for the seconds dreading the consequences. When he got to 5 he started to count down getting louder the lower the number. Once he had finished he asked once more and when I refused him what he needed he suddenly got angry. He punched me in the stomach and winded me. The other soldiers laughed from behind. Was this going to be my doom.
