Hey! Sorry again for not updating sooner:( btw ill be busy with horse show stuff for the next day, so even if I do find time to update, I'll probably be to wiped to write anything good. So, I will apologise now :) btw (again) make sure that no one runs over your bathtub with a red mini cooper while your reading this (that ones for you, my German friend, not gonna say any names) lol. But seriously, that would be really bad...

Alec's POV

I reached up to grab two of my many, crystal glasses.

"Would you like anything to drink?" I asked. "Coffee, tea, juice, water, pop. I've got it all."

After a few moments I looked over at her. She jumped a bit, as if she were startled.

"Just water." Fyre replied. Her face was turning a strange shade of red.

"Is it to warm in here? Your face is turning red." I said, concerned.

"No, no its fine. Honest." The red colour deepened. I just shrugged and opened the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water.

I split the water between the two glasses and opened the freezer to grab the ice. I know your supposed to put the Ice in first, but I always forget. I grabbed the two cups and walked over to the living room.

I am well paid, even though I haven't graduated. Well, I haven't graduated from normal high school. The walls in my living room are black, with a creamy white trim. All my furniture is extremely high end. Although my house wasn't as grand as Fyre's, it was, by far, more modern.

I set the glasses on the coffee table. I was about to say something, when I glanced up at Fyre. Her eyes were closed, but you can tell she wasn't sleeping. I walked over to my radio and turned on 'Lullaby' by Sia, on low. This song always helped me fall asleep. I walked over to the love seat across from the couch Fyre was laying on.

I sat down and grabbed my water, sipping it slowly. I looked at Fyre. Poor girl. I wasn't completely sure what happened, only what I read in the newspaper. Her father cut her throat then killed his supposedly 'possessed' wife and himself. What a confused man. And then what Jay did. I wasn't even there to help her. I was supposed to be there. It's literally my job.

Fyre's POV

I groaned and stretched a bit, waking from my slumber. I cautiously opened my eyes to see Alec watching his TV. Flat screen, of course. I yawned and stretched again. I saw a glass if water on the table and practically attacked it. God, I was so thirsty. The cold, fresh water felt amazing. I sighed loudly. Whoops.

Alec glanced over and saw I was awake. His whole face brightened. Wow. This guy must have no friends at all. I kind of felt bad for him. Then he spoke.

"Are you finally done drooling on my couch?" He asked, smirking. How had I not noticed that annoying smirk yesterday? Or was that today?

"What day is it?" I asked.

"Saturday. You slept the night here. Not that I minded." He responded with a cheeky grin. Then he turned serious. "Actually, your going to have to stay with me from now on. Or at least until your trained."

"Trained? What? No! I want to go home! I don't even know you!"

"Listen, I'm going to explain everything. Just calm down and listen." I took several deep breaths. Even if this guy was a murderer or something, I still needed to calm down.

"Okay, I'm good now." I said, as Alec inspected me. Creepy. Finally, he nods.

"So, here's what you need to know..."
