"Hello?" I asked into the phone.

"Is this Fyre Vander?" Came a male voice.

"Umm yeah. How did you get this number?" I asked, cautiously.

"Thats not really important at the moment. My name is Mike. I'm from the facility where your father was kept."

"He... Um... Escaped. He is currently on the loose."

"What?! No! That's not possible. People don't escape! How did this happen?"

"Well. I can't really say. We aren't a hundred percent sure yet. This is an exceptional case. If you see him, please contact us immediately." I could here the warning in his voice.

"Oh. God. Bye, I guess. "

"Good bye."

I put the phone down with shaky hands. My eyes snapped shut. I will not let him beat me. Alec placed a hand on my shoulder and more than anything, I just wanted to spin around and collapse in his arms. But I couldn't. Alec had seen me at my weakest to many times already.

"Are you alright?" He asked. No. I was not alright.

"I'm fine." I cleared my face of emotion and turned around. "My father escaped from prison."

Many emotions flowed from Marie, but I ignored them. My eyes were locked on Alec's. Both of our faces were emotionless.

"I guess it's a good time to start fight training then." Alec said. I smirked. This I could do.

"Geeze! Where did you learn to fight?" Alec asked, wildly attempting to block one of my punches.

"Before... Everything, I was kind of caught up with the wrong people. I mean, look at me. I don't have sixteen piercings and eight tattoos because I'm a nerd. Far from it. I was the best."

"Really? Well, I hope you don't mind being second best from now on." He smirked.

"Ha! Don't bet on it." I dropped to the floor and swung my leg out, hitting him in the back of the knees. Before he was even on the ground, I pressed my forearm to his throat and smashed him into the floor. Catching him out of breath, I flipped him on his back.

"Well. I will admit, your good." He gasped. I burst out laughing.

"Better than you. Better than anyone."

Don't hate!! I'm sorry! Please don't eat me:/ major writers block. Thank you music for once again saving me. Sigh. Anyway. Comment? Like? Fan? Ignore me cuz I'm annoying? It's a free country!! And I've had to much sugar... Cya danke peeps.
