Jessie looked around the corner to assure no one had heard the noise. She moved slowly back to where she had seen the guard previously. She looked through the scope of the gun to see if anyone was in the parking lot but it was far too dark to see. She moved forward with caution, clinging to the wall. She begins to hear quiet talking, although she can’t make out what they’re saying. She knows it’s at least one man and a woman. She begins to walk towards the conversation when she steps on a piece of glass and stops moving. The two people stop talking for a moment. Jessie stops moving and tightens her grip on her rifle. She sees a figure stand up from behind a car. The figure raised their weapon, Jessie quickly ran to another car and got behind it for cover. While she was running the figure began shooting hitting the ground near her. Breathing heavily, Jessie closed her eyes and took a couple deep breaths.

When Jessie opened her eyes she was calm again. She quickly moved to the right side of the car, knowing the enemy was expecting her to move to the left. She aimed around the corner of the car and by the time the figure saw her she had already taken the shot. The bullet struck the figure, now known to be a woman from the scream she let out when she was hit, hitting her in the right side of the torso. Jessie slowly stood up and approached the car with the rifle pointed at it, anticipating the man she heard earlier. As she turned the corner of the car there was no one there. She lowered her rifle in confusion. Suddenly Jessie was tackled to the ground, her rifle sliding a couple feet away from her. Jessie jabbed her elbow back hitting the man multiple times in the face. She twisted around while the man was still trying to hold her down. The man pushed her arms against the ground. Jessie headbutted the man, stunning him. She then managed to push him over onto the ground. Now on top of the man, she put her hand on his forehead and began bashing his head against the ground until he was unconscious.

Jessie grabs her rifle and the dead woman’s rifle and she also checks the her for ammunition finding two extra magazines, and drags the man back to the office. As Jessie opened the door, Kayla put her knife to Jessie’s back and her arm around her neck. “Drop the...Jessie?” Kayla says and lets go of Jessie. “Christ Kayla…” Jessie said, breathing heavily. “Sorry! I thought you were one of them.” Said Kayla. “No no it’s fine, you did a good job of protecting yourself.” “What happened out there?” Said kayla. “There were some people stalking us from the parking lot. One of them shot Landon in the arm so I went after them. I killed two of them and took their weapons and ammo. This guy attacked me but I knocked him out.” Jessie drags the man over to a corner and ties his hands and his feet. She then proceeds to give Kayla one of the rifles. “If he tries anything, shoot him in the fucking head.” “Alright.”

Jessie get up on the roof again to check on Landon. “Landon, you good?” Said Jessie as she got to the top of the ladder. “Yeah, I think the bleeding pretty much stopped. What happened out there?” Jessie explains what happened once again and Landon agrees with her that they should interrogate the man. Jessie helps landon down the ladder and enters the office. As Jessie opens the door, a gun goes off in the office. Jessie pushes the door open and runs inside.
