My alarm yelled at me as I plopped my hand on it. What is the point of school? Waking up and preparing myself is usless. I'm going to skip once again so I don't have to bare through the long dry lectures and constant busy work.

I pushed my self up on my knees and threw on a cute shirt with a pair of jeans. My clothes showed how I felt that day. If I felt a little down I would wear a black shirt with dark jeans and dark makeup. If I was feeling like a girl in a romance novel during the summer I would wear a short summer dress with a light jacket. I have to say most of the time I'm wearing the darker outfit.

On my way out I grabbed my favorite hoodie. It was a navy blue with silver thread lining the sleeves and neck. I yelled a quick good bye to my mother and headed out the door. Running down the steps I was reminded of my father. My dad and mom were divorced. Their marrige was going great until they had me. I feel like even though I was two I was the last problem that made the thought of divorce possible. At age three they officially split. Sad to say they lived happier without the other which always interfered with my plan of a happy comercial family.

My older brother, Riley, was my best friend. He was the only person who fully understood me and my out-there thoughts. Some of them made him think I was crazy but he was still there to listen.

Old memmories rushed through my head as I accidentally ran into something hard. I rubbed my shoulder and peered through watery eyes at the corner of a wall.

I can't believe I ran into a wall! Welcome to my life.

I began to run out of the apartment building out of embrassment. Luckily no one was there to see my incedent.

As I rounded a fimilair corner I saw the alley way. Again voices flew through my head.

Sage! Come to us. We are what you have always been looking for.

My head turned and my feet followed as if in a trance. I really wanted to know who the heck was talking to me. What do they mean "We are what you have always been waiting for"? I kept walking towards the voices. Looking around I was wondering if anyone else heard them. I reached a hand out to the wall. It was cold and felt ancient. I pulled back my hand reacting to nothing. This alley gives me the creeps!

I ran a single finger down the wall as I walked. After a few steps pain surged through my finger. It felt like I had just stuck it on a burner of a stove. Curiously I put my finger back on the spot. "Shit!" I hissed. It had burnt me even worse.

That's really weird. I looked above the alley wall. An old abandoned office was sitting there. Spiderwebs were forming on the inside of the building giving it a eerie feel. Some wooden window edges were lose and hanging by a nail. As I was gazing at the house my eyes caught a glimpse of something. I looked into the very top story floor. A maroon colored curtain was swinging from side to side as if someone was sticking their head out the window and suddenly pulled back. I couldn't hear or see anyone in there. I knew for an almost fact that no one lived or used the building. Accually some of the townspeople were going to tear it down a few years ago but decided against it. They said it was a historical fact.

Maybe the heat came from a boiler room inside the building? One thing dawned on me as I trudged out of the alley. The only way a boiler room would produce heat was if it was being used.
