I wiped the sweat from my brow, and slapped my hand into the soapy water, then took the sponge and started to mop the floor on my hands and knees. Stephen had gotten the job at the diner, and was Renting-To-Own a car, so he could get back and further. Sebastian still disappeared randomly through-out the day, but I had enough to keep me busy as I put a little elbow grease into the stain on the floor. I pushed too hard and slipped. I bit my tongue and I felt blood fill my mouth.

"Shit!" I yelled, kneeling. Blood dribbled over my lip and landed on the floor. I stood up quickly and placed a hand under the drip. "Shit, shit, shit." I repeated, rushing to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and watched my tongue swell. I heard the door open. "Hello?" I called, the swelling already making my speech slurred.

"Ariel? Is that you?" Sebastian answered. The door clicked shut. "Did something happen?"

"I fell and bit my tongue. I'm bleeding pretty bad." Blood splattered onto the mirror so I quickly wiped it off. Sebastian came into the bathroom and just started at me. "Don't just stand there. Go get something to clean the blood up in the kitchen." I attemptedto force the words out but the swelling prevented any actual speech from happening. I attempted a curse, with the same results. I turned on the cold water, and cupped my hands to catch it and splash it into my mouth. The water soothed the burning, but did little for the ache.

Sebastian stood, as if in shock, staring at me. "It's nothing." I said, "Just take care of the blood in the kitchen." I grabbed a handtowel, wet half of it and put it into my mouth. I went to brush past Sebastian but he grabbed onto my arm. I tried to jerk away, but his grip got tighter. "Let go!" It sounded muffled and I could barely understand myself. Sebastian grabbed the towel from my hand and took it from my mouth. He tipped my head up and put his lips on mine.

My body exploded in heat. Starting from my lips, heat and electricy corsed through my system, rendering me useless. I don't even think I kissed back. I was so surprised, my eyes fluttered shut and hands ended up on his chest. His smooth, tight, tone chest. My legs went limp and his arms wrapped around me, and he deepened the kiss, sticking his warm tongue into my mouth. There, our tongues danced and my body came alive. I swung my hands over his neck and latched onto the beautiful, dark hair. I stood on my tip toes and crushed my mouth to his. His arms tightened around me and he pushed me onto the sink, so I was sitting, my legs strattling him. He leaned us back and pushed the stuff from the counter.

His hand slipped up my shirt, then slowly moved down my body and I leaned my head back to catch my breath. That's when I saw all the blood on his lips and cheeks. I gasped and sat up quickly, smacking our heads together. "Ouch! Sebastian, I'm so sorry!" I grabbed a washcloth and pressed it his face. I looked up to his eyes, which had turned blood red. "Sebastian, your eyes-" I was alone in the bathroom, freefalling toward the floor. I pushed my hands out in front of my and saved my face. I sat on my knees and looked around. "Uh...Sebastian?" I called out. The door to his room slammed shut.

I stood and dusted off my jeans. "Sebastian?" I walked to his room and leaned my ear against the door. "Um...Can we talk about what just happened?"

"Go away." The voice was gruff, meaner than I expected could come from such a sweet man. I raised my palm to the door and laid it against it.

"I SAID, LEAVE!" The sound pure animal and had me backing away. I looked to the kitchen, then to Stephen's nearly finished room. The only thing missing was the light bulb and paneling. I rushed to it and shut the door. I leaned against it and started shaking.

Sebastian's eyes were red. What was he?
