You said you’d care,

That you’d be there.

But when things went wrong,

You were gone.

Where did you go?

In my mind,

Things were fine.

I was wrong,

That’s why you’re gone.

You’re never coming back.

Blade to skin,

The cuts were grim.

Evidently wrong,

That’s why you’ve gone.

So very far away.

The tears are dry,

That’s all I’ll cry.

Maybe I am wrong,
You’re too far gone.

When will you return?

It’s seems like forever,

Will I ever get better?

No? They were wrong,

It’s been too long.

I miss you.
