He was in love with the girl of his dreams.

Literally. August Hark had never met her in reality. She was a figment of his imagination. Yet that did not stop her from visiting him every night.

She had the eyes of a cloudy sky. Hair as soft as her voice, falling to her waist. Lightly blond, Paradise was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.

Paradise fit her name quite well, August thought. Sultry, exciting, mellow and mysterious.

He yearned for her touch, melted at the sight of the gazing storm. Thirsted for her sweet voice.

Every night he went to bed early, falling quickly asleep. He'd find her in nameless places, areas he'd never seen.

Bathing in the Lake of Temptation, singing atop shifting mountains. Dancing in the Forest of Forbidden Winds.

Astonished, like every time he'd find her, she'd pause, glancing over her frail shoulders, holding him captive in her hungry gaze,

Slowly, as if time did not exist, she would rise, only to face him, unblinking,

Excitement. Anxious thrill. He would feel the blood rush through his veins, mouth flood with water.

Paradise wore nothing but the leaves collected from nearby trees. It drew his eye, down her long tan body. Legs that seemed to never stop and a smile that could melt any hard heart.

She'd encroach, carefully, cautiously, would she float gracefully towards August.

Hesitantly, would she lift her hand to brush the side of his face, that would always turn a bright red.

She' would slide it away, leaving the enticing and lingering warmth of her hand resting on his cheek.

They would both lean in, and their lips touched.

It was like someone attached him with lightning. His foundations shook.

He may have never even talked to her, known anything of her, but he knew for a fact, he was in love.

Could he loved her any more, he would have doubted. She was so perfect. So beautiful. Those silent eyes held the mystery enough to drive him crazy.

Years passed, and she never changed. He relished this fact. KNew she would always remain perfect. Never change. Always be his one true love.

This is the beginning of my story. How I fell in love with the girl of my dreams. How I saved her, and ultimately, how she saved me.
