Prologue

“What happened?”

“I found you here in the middle of the desert!”

“Who are…you?”

“It’s okay, I’m a friend. I promise I won’t tell. I promise!”

“Wait, how did I get here?”

“I just found you silly, how should I know! By the way, what’s your name?”

“My name is… Jacob?”

“Jacob? Your name is Jacob? Really?”

“Yes, Jacob”

“Jacob”

Trust. Something that everyone desires. It is what drives us. It is what keep us together in this untamed universe we call home. It is a humanly nature to think that there’s someone you can rely on. To believe we are not alone. It makes us feel safe even though death is always around the corner. But don't let this noble belief fool you, as it can be the very thing that guides destruction on your path.
