She said we were over

She said we were through

Why would you say that?

Why can’t I hold you?

Every day the pain increases

My mind is slipping away

All I wanted to do

Was be with you every day

The memories won’t be forgotten

My feelings won’t be lost

I’ll feel this way forever

No matter what the cost
