“I thought you looked amazing earlier but I was totally wrong, Jessika you are so gorgeous, I can’t believe its you stood in front of me. You used to be really chubby and dye your hair black all the time, but now look at you. Wow,” Katy said running out of breath.

I was wearing a halter-neck backless black dress that came up to mid-thigh with my Iron Fist Sweet Skull ‘O’ Mine platforms. My hair was down in ringlets, I had black and grey smoky eyes with a hint of pink blusher and red lips.

I spun around in front of the mirror, completely ignoring Katy - who had also been invited to the party, but lets hope there is enough people there to ignore her.

“You got a tattoo too? Wow Jess, you’re a badass!” Katy yelled whilst touching up her fake eyelashes.

I nodded, grabbed my little black bag and headed out the door without a goodbye to Katy. I was searching through my bag to make sure I hadn’t forgotten my keys when I walked into someone and nearly made me fall backwards.

I looked up and saw that it was no other than Archie himself. He held me in his arms a little longer than I was expecting. I stood up straight and brushed myself off.

“You look… Beautiful,” Archie mumbled avoiding eye contact now.
I felt anger boil up inside of me, I thought instead of lashing out, I’d go for a quick witty response.

“Nice falling for you,” I mumbled trying not to add ‘again’, “But I’m off to a party to get absolutely drunk, most probably get laid and then wake up with a bad hangover, goodbye,” I said loudly and began walking towards the door.

I felt a hard hand grab the top of my arm and pull me back. I turned to see Archie again, his eyes were soft and his smile was kind but his grab was harsh.

“Can we not just forget about the past? Start over?” Archie asked letting go of my arm.
“No,” I said stubbornly.
“Why not?” Archie replied hurt.

I look a deep breath in and growled.

“Well first of all - you only want to make amends because I’m now officially what you would call ‘hot’. I lost a load of weight because of the way you made me feel, you told me no one would love me. That I am not worthy of having any friends and at first I believed you. I wouldn’t get close to anyone because I was afraid to get hurt then I met a guy named Noah and he was my only friend, he truly loved me - I know he did. He made me realise that the words you said to me were lies, you made me feel disgusting about myself. You took my virginity and then literally pushed me out the door telling me how shit I was. You expect me to forgive you? No way, it’s your turn to suffer Archie,” I smiled.

Archie looked down at the ground.

“I’m sorry,” He mumbled looking back up.
“I think its my turn to make your life living hell, don’t you? Well it was nice catching up with you but I must dash. Alcohol to drink, boys to kiss and games to play. Too-da-loo,” I laughed and walked out the door.
