The Gloomy Guy

It was a dead day for him again. He finished all his works at the office, and he - the typical "Mr. Perfect" doesn't want them to be unfinished.

Everyday is just the same for him. Work - Home - Party (if there is). He does engage in dating but seems like he's the type of guy that every woman would love, yet be hated so much.
He doesn't know why he doesn't want to be involve in these serious relationships, though he doesn't have anything to hide nor to keep a secret on. He's a boring guy, indeed.

"Mr. Hurst?," it's Eliza, the secretary of the company manager.
"Yes Ms. Coss?," he asked. He was in the middle of typing all the financial reports for the month of November. He still have 5days before he could beat the deadline, but now, he only needs just a day to finish them all.

"The boss wants to talk to you,"
"May I know why?,"
"I don't have any idea," Eliza finally leaves the room.

He paused for a while-thinking the possible words or statements that their boss, Mr. Horaldson, would speak up on him.
Maybe Mr. Horaldson would tell him not to force himself to finish everything instantly. He knows his boss. His boss is very kind on his employees. He doesn't want them to be rushed on work.
"There's always tomorrow - but be sure tomorrow is not the deadline," as Mr. Horaldson always quote on him whenever he tries to spend a lot of few hours again from work.

"Yes, Mr. Horaldson?," he said after coming inside the office. The door was open already.

"Have a seat, Mr. Hurst," Mr. Horaldson is a fat bearded man. His age ranges from fifty to fifty five but seems like he's 10 years younger from his actual age. He is also a workaholic man, which is one of the reason why he doesn't have his own family. He does have a daughter but not from his own blood. An orphan, indeed.

"How many women have you dated, Mr. Malcolm Hurst?," Mr. Horaldson asked.
Malcolm had a short shock about the question of Mr. Horaldson.

"I only dated 5 women sir. None of them are serious,"

"So, how old are you now?"

"I'm 29."

"When are you planning to have a family?,"

"I don't have any ideas at the moment, Sir,"

Mr. Horaldson took a deep breath before saying a word.

"You should take a rest, Mr. Hurst. You have given so much time on this office. You aren't a slave here, everyone needs to be at rest on an specific time."

Malcolm doesn't know what to utter.

"I'm giving you a two-weeks leave, Mr. Hurst. Everyone agreed with me on this and I hope you would accept this kind of offer. Another, I don't accept a refuse."

Malcolm went home by 7 in the evening. He's not the type of guy who enjoys all the things around him. What will he do for 2 months? Watch tv shows? Eat thrice a day at home? Go to the beach on sundays?
His mind was in chaos. But it seems like he's finding another way to spend his vacation.
