Chapter 2:

I kept rocking back and forth on the cold. Hard. Bed. I couldn’t complain thou it was much better than the last “bed” I had.I held my head in my hands and fell over. The pain was far too much. I couldn’t stand it. I shut my eyes and groaned in pain. I curled up on the floor hoping it would just Go Away. That’s it, I can’t stand it. I let out an ear piercing scream. There was shuffling outside the locked door. People shouting, running, rolling carts as they went. The door was finally opened, in came two nurses. I knew them well, Samantha and Clara. Their blond and red hair tied into perfect buns and dressed in white. Two of the nurses assigned to me. They pulled out a syringe filed with clear liquid. My eyes widened in fear. No... Not that again. Please no. I mentally begged them. Before I could scream a rag was placed in my mouth. It was dipped in something I still didn’t know the name of. Even if it was used on me a couple times. The liquid, it was suffocating. I tried not to inhale it, for I knew what would happen if I did. But it was clogging my nose with the smell. Slowly... I started losing consciousness. I felt the needle prick my skin. It was probably something for the pain or something to calm me down. Tame me. I saw the nurses’ lips moving, but I couldn’t make out the words. And I blacked out…
