Seki and Taro looked around, though there wasn't much to look at. The light that was given off from the entrance was the only thing illuminating the place. And it's light didn't go far. A shudder went through Sekis body, the darkness was her one and only fear. But she knew that only she could now this. Looking at Taro from the corner of her eyes she prayed he wouldn't notice her fear.

"You okay?" He asked quietly, noticing her gaze. She quickly nodded.

"Of course, we should get moving. The sooner we get out of here the better." And with that they set out, slowly getting father away from the light. They both continued further and further in, both thankful for their ability to see in the dark. Even with this ability, being in the dark frightened Seki and she never knew why. She just felt vulnerable to all around her.

"Seki." Taro suddenly said, startling the she-wolf greatly. Swiftly regaining her composure, she turned to him.

"The cave wall. It has your name on it." He said, his upper half rising as he placed his paws on the wall. Seki did the same. It did, amazingly enough, say her name. It was written in a bold print that neither wolf had seen in a long time.

"Who could've written this?" She found herself asking, the question directed at no one in particular. Taro stepped back down to the ground, sighing as he did so.

"We need to get outta here, you said so. The sooner, the better."

"I know but this is odd. I know no one from this day and age. Unless..." She started as she stepped down. Taro cocked his head.

"Unless what?" He asked. Seki looked at him.

"Once we get out of here, I'll tell you."

"Alright, let's go." They both began to walk in the direction they thought would lea them to the fountain. A light tapping came from near them. Sekis ears twisted towards the sound, her eyes widening. But she saw nothing, just rocks and the cave wall. She slowly turned back towards Taro only to find him gone.

"Taro? Where are you?" She asked hurriedly, her breath becoming raspy. Her ears flattened against her head as foot steps approached her.

"Seki? Is that you?" She heard a light voice ask. It wasn't Taro but it did sound familiar.
"Who is asking this?"

"Bronwyn, from the Magma pack." The she-wolf stated. Seki turned to where she heard the voice.

"Bronwyn? You're the chosen one from the Magma pack?" Seki asked, her fear forgotten for a second. Bronwyn nodded.

"We need to get out of here, weird animals live in these caves." She said, glancing around. Seki nodded.

"First I need to find Taro."

"Taro? Is he a chosen one as well?" She asked quietly. Seki shook her head.

"No where near, he needs my help to unlock his true potential." She stated. Although she was completely unaware that he had went back to find her and had over heard her talking to Bronwyn.

What am I to here, a nuisance? There must be a way to show her that I don't need to rely on her for everything. He thought. Just as he thought this, a deep growl escaped from a wide opening to his left.

Interesting indeed, can't wait for more. Although you used the dreaded cliff-hanger to keep us coming back, very underhanded of you although it is very useful in that sense. Anyway, minus the rambling, great chapter. Update soon, and um...yeah. I think I said it all.
