She was racing through the woods, not caring if she was getting scratched by hanging branches. She was holding her head in her hands, crying out all the tears she had left in her. Her long black dress with dragging on the sharpness of the fallen branches. She suddenly drops to her knees, and cries until there's no more tears. Why does everything bad happen to me? She questioned herself. I might as well die right here. I'll never love again anyways... She pulls the razor off of her necklace, and presses it against her wrist. She cuts deeper and deeper each time. Blood pours from her wrist, and down her arm.
Suddenly, she hears a voice from the distance. She looks up, and takes the razor from her wrist. She stood up as she heard the voice again. She starts walking towards it, but as it got louder, she started walking faster, and was soon running after it.
She found herself standing in front of a log cabin. The voice is coming from in here... She thought as she put her hand on the doorknob. She slowly turned it. She walked inside when it was fully opened.
She looked around, and saw barely anything. The only things she was were a small couch, a good sized TV, and a small fridge. She stood there for a few moments before saying something.
"Hello?" She said. There was silence.
"Is anyone here?" She called out. Suddenly, she heard the voice from upstairs. She hesitated for a moment, then swallowed hard before slowly moving towards the stairs.
Finally, she came upon a door. The voice is coming from beyond this door... She thought as she placed her hand on the doorknob. Slowly, she turned it.
When she opened the door completely, she saw a boy standing in front of her. She slowly looks up at him, and saw the mean look on his face.
"What the hell do you think you're doing here?!" He yelled at her. She froze back in terror. His voice was kind of deep, but she could tell he had a soft side to him. Just like her first love. He was big, and mean at first, but once you get to know him, he was the nicest guy ever. But this guy was harder to tell with. She could sense his soft side, but it was very faint.
"What the hell are you doing here, girl?!" The boy yelled again. She hesitated before saying something.
"I-I was j-just l-looking around..." She stuttered. The boy glared at her.
"Get out." He growled. She gasped at him. She was harder to read than she thought.
"But I..." She said quietly.
"I said get out!!!!" He screamed. She slowly turned around, feeling dizzy. She swayed back and forth, and suddenly fell to the floor.
She woke up, lying in a soft bed. She slowly sat up, and groaned.
"You shouldn't move so quickly." She heard a deep voice. She looked at him, and gasped. He didn't have a shirt on, and she noticed his left arm was all wrapped up, She wanted to ask him what happened, but hesitated.
He saw she was looking at his bandeged arm. He sighed, and looked at her.
"My arm got burned." He told her, annoyance taking over his voice. She looked at him for a moment, and opened her mouth to say something.
"H-how did you b-burn your a-arm?" She said, stuttering from fear.
"My house got set on fire, and I barely made it." He explained.
"O-oh, I-I'm sorry..." She said, looking down.
"What do you have to be sorry about? It's not any of your concern to be sorry for me." He hissed. She shrinked back, tears forming in her bright green eyes. He sighed and walked over to her.
"What's your name?" He asked, calmly this time.
"Cassalyn," she whispered. He put his hand on her cheek, and lifted her head, making her look in his black eyes, that had red speaks in them.
"I'm Jeremiah," he said.
