Chapter 9

Matt and John both awoke around ten the next morning."Well," John started."today is the last day here, before we go back home and we still have two hours left, what do you want to do?" Matt shrugged."Well, since today is the last day and its beautiful out here we might as well walk around and take pictures. The camera is in my bag." John nodded and fetched the camera while Matt continued to get ready for the day and repack his dirty clothes."What do you say we start at the lake and then work our way to the waterfall?" John questioned as he turned on the camera."Sure. Love ya, babe." John smiled."Love ya too, Matt." They kissed the briefest kiss and then walked out of their tent.

They spent the better of the last two hours taking pictures of nature and stealing kisses. When they ended up at the waterfall they had a picnic that John had packed before hand. They were reluctant to leave when their parents told them it was time to pack everything away and leave for home. Everything was running pretty smoothly and they were almost home. Then tragedy struck. They were turning on the interstate when a drunk driver slammed into them and caused them to flip. The major blow was to the driver side and the van was totaled.

When Matt awoke he didn't know where he was. All he knew was that everything had gone black after he saw that truck barreling towards them. Soon enough a nurse was there and she said something about alerting his doctor that he was awake, but he wasn't listening. He was trying to look for his parents and brother. He prayed with all of his might that they were okay.

"Mr. Willabanks, its good to see that you finally joined us. I realize you may have some questions so why don't I let you ask those first?" Matt took a deep breath."Why am I in the hospital? Where are my parents and brother?" The doctor glanced down at him sadly and he didn't even have to speak the words because Matt already knew, but he did anyways.

"I am very sorry Mr. Willabanks, but you and your family were in a car wreck with a drunk driver. Your mother survived for a few hours, but died just a moment before you awoke. Your brother and father got the worst so they died before hand, on the scene if you will. The other driver died as well." Matt took in a shaking breath, before he passed back out due to stress and overwhelming news.

This is sudden.... (voice in head: DONT JUST ACT ALL CALM!! *sobs* This was such a great story! It still is but.. ) but it's just sad! :(

Yeah. I know, but I was getting to close to the characters and I still love Matt and John, but it was going to happen anyways. I'll update soon.

Haha. We will totally find out in the next chapter won't we?? Lol... Ummm.. I'll update asap!!! And yeah like I said I have the Snarry fic and this summer the sequel to The Islanders...

Haha. Be sure you do! Haha. Its okay to be cursing me. Their familt was perfect and I totally loved them. It hurt me to have to kill them off. But.. what happens happens and soon things will...

Either fall apart, combust, or get better. Still trying to figure it out for myself. I will as always keep you posted! And thank you for commenting. I love your comments! They make me happy! =)
