More Twilight Zone than Lord of the Rings

I joined this house since recently I've written a contemporary Fantasy story more in line with the works of Rod Serling than J. R. R. Tolkien. (I'm a fan of both and have written a few fairy tales myself in the past.) If anyone wanted to check it out, I'd love any and all feedback.
