Topic: Novels

Have you read the rules? If you said yes and are lying you just opened a Pharaoh's tomb and may be cursed. If you said no then you stepped away from the tomb just in time. Either way you must go back and read the rules to know how to properly crack open the tomb and receive the riches. If you said yes and aren't lying then congratulations the riches are just waiting for you to take.

This is the category where you can give and ask reviews for novels only.

Please remember to give a constructive review.

Re: Novels

Hey, can you all review The Manor of Murder? It's my only book currently and has 7 chapters.
Summary: Nicole, David, and Ryan are living the normal, somewhat luxury life, until one event changes their lives forever. They meet Vivienne Beaumont, who ends up being way more than meets the eye, but is really part of something bigger than the 3 would ever expect.
Genre: Young-Adult Thriller Fantasy.
Enjoy!

Re: Novels

Anathaziia, I have come to review your novel, "The Manor of Murder" !(chapter 1)

I love the characters. You gave a good descriptions of them, and the descriptions of the house were very meticulous and thorough. Your word usage was also good, with small (but hardly noticeable) mistakes in spelling. On the downside, perhaps you gave too many descriptions, which could render the reader of any will to keep reading. Of course, it's my opinion which could very well be wrong.

Overall, the first chapter was very good. If I were to rate it out of ten, it would be an 8.5. :]

Now it's my turn to ask for a review. My novel is called "The Unwavering Hand". It's a thriller that leaves you with many mysteries and makes you pose many questions, hopefully throughout the novel. Hope it's enjoyable

Re: Novels

I have reviewed "Hide and Seek", which I can tell I am going to get hooked on! Great opener so far from what I have read!

I am new here and also only have one book. It is called Dark Penchants. The prologue is a short letter, so a review on any of the other chapters would be great! Thank you all in advance and I think this is a wonderful idea!

Re: Novels

I reviewed St3w4's Chapter 19 of Metagore. You can find the review on the chapter, but I'll post it below too.

I liked this quite a bit, you're very good at getting across an image without using too much description or overly complicated, flowery sentences (a bit like this one). However, I did notice that you made a few simple mistakes that aren't really too noticeable, like "the day" where it should of been "that day" since they were referring to how quiet the morning was compared to the previous day. Another was "lied ahead", which should probably be "lay ahead", since the word lied doesn't actually match up to "lie down", "lying down" or "lay down". Lied is more for "I'm fine," she lied through gritted teeth. Other than these and a couple of other mistakes, you did a very good job with this chapter.

Could somebody check out my novel Superhuman X? It can be any chapter you please, though I should note that reading the first chapter will help with some questions you might have from reading either 2 or 3.

Re: Novels

Hello everyone.

Could I please get a review on my novel Sidereus Nuncius.

There are 19 chapters, so I will be happy with any one of them or the whole thing.

Thank you and I look forward to reading works from fellow authors.

Re: Novels

I reviewed 'His Eyes' by Miss Riding Hood.

Very powerful and on a topic most of us shy away from! Please take the time to read her story!

I've got a new Novel up and it's only got 1 chapter so far 'Bellicose Huntress'.

Thx!

Re: Novels

I reviewed "His Eyes".

Very powerful and descriptive writing.

You got me to worry about the lady in the story. She is bordering on obsession with this guy.

I will be interested to see how this relationship handles conflict.

On the lookout for the next chapter!

Re: Novels

Reviewed "The Power of Persuasian".

I enjoyed the humor.  I also like how you have given me a good look into the personality of Hannah. You have set things up well in terms of her character. There are a lot of directions you can go with it.

Ready for Chapter 3!

Re: Novels

I have reviewed and commented on, '' Carried by the Waves" by Ivaneta Ivanova. Could the next person please review Sparked.

Thanks.

Re: Novels

I read "Spark."

There are some fascinating concepts that I believe will serve the story well.
The way clocks are used is quite good. I also like mysteries (who is collecting the Sparks & why?) and this one set things up rather nicely.
Overall a fun read.

Re: Novels

I read Ethan Howard's first chapter in his book, "Sidereus Nuncius" and left a review in the form of a comment! It was a great beginning to a story. I was entertained the entire time and enthralled! Some parts where a bit continuous, but other then that it was a great start!

If someone could read and review the beginning of my new work "The Lost Puppet", I would be so grateful!
Thanks a bunches

Re: Novels

Read the prologue and Chapter One of "The Lost Puppet".

Good stuff.

Aglaia Marquet is character I find interesting already. A courageous and defiant puppet!

Interesting and unique concept. The story starts out with action but you immediately know what is going on.

Overall a fun read and worth seeing it through to the end.

Would you like a review? If so, what on?
