Not Who I Am
As I sit in a classroom full of gossipers and people who say I'm this or I'm that or what what they think of me. I stare and just smile. It's not a fake smile it's a smile. I smile because I know who I am and what I am made to be.I actually use to care and think it mattered when it really didn't. The one person that I actually cared what they thought about me was already by me and was reminding me that those words are just FALSE WORDS. They don't mean anything. Literally...they mean nothing. Not only cause it's not true but also because it's as if they expect it to matter to us. They speak words. They don't think they just speak. They feel if they obliterate all our happiness they win. They say words that they hope will hurt you, but what they don't know is that I could careless. "Those words you speak are just lies" i say. As long as I know who I am then they don't hurt. They mean nothing. Your words will never do harm to me. Those words are not me. Those words are not who I am. Your words have no definition for me.
