A very short essay regarding the 2016 presidential race that is essentially just highlighting someone else's article and letting it do the talking. Listed as an essay but it really should have been listed as the horror genre. The horror. The horror.
The fourth essay in the "Political Theatre of the Absurd 2016" essay series about the ridiculous fiasco that is the 2016 presidential election. Part of the book "Welcome to the Idiot Box: Stories, Essays, Self-help Wisdom". The entire book is free if you are an Amazon prime member.
This research proposal is the result of my experience in this class and a memory that it sparked in me. I remember finding out that Filipina women are being trafficked into Canada and used as maids for upper class white women. This class has finally allowed me to find the proper words to communicate how despicable this made me feel. Isn’t that slavery? This is a common phenomenon today in Canada and it indicates that the stereotype is still alive: young, temporary migrant women are good objects for being maids and nannies’.
Taking a theoretical position of critical feminism, this paper explores the theme of abused young, female, temporary migrants in Canada. This is assumed to be only the tip of the iceberg because the instance of the Filipina maids cannot be an isolated phenomenon. This research set out to learn how much is known about this type of forced domestic work, and how to characterize and identify the experience in Canada of women who are being targeted for abuse because they are easy to manipulate—they are young, female, and temporary migrants. Therefore, they have three strikes against them and the intersectionality positions them at the bottom of the social hierarchy.
This essay is about how the Internet affect our lives, the differences and similarities between the internet and libraries, how they are correlated, how to find reliable information and how technology helps people to get information.
Have you ever thought about " Kakorrhaphiophobia" well I don't think you did.. And probably its a new word for you! Isn't it? What about Forlorn? Or have you ever been so fragile? They usually use fragile for glass, you may see it as a bag sticker when you travel.. A broken glass that has the word FRAGILE.. Its a common word but we don't usually use it to express our broken hearts? Don't hearts get broken? I'm fragile and I'm feeling so forlorn ohh god I've got a kakorrhaphiophobia!! They all describe weakness.. I'm not gonna give you advices about how to be strong and build yourself up again and fix up that crashed heart.. We all get heart broken.. No one ever would stay fearless and happy with alot of friends arround him! There should be this time of our life we spend fearing failure, lonelyness, and getting heart broken.
Its either from a person or from a dream that never came true, maybe a place you used to live at.. But most likely, a person you loved. It doesn't matter of its friendship or a relationship they both suck when it comes to leaving.. Sometimes the person leaves and sometimes its you.. Usually we think that the person is the one who left, and sometimes you think that its better for both of you!
We always hear people say that if you fear something so much, it will pop out of no where someday in your life! Well I fear failure, lonelyness and getting heart broken.. And they all came at one time!!
You'll never know what life actually means unless you get to pass throught tough days.. Its was never all about being happy! If you never tried losing people or falling down, then what is life?? Life is all about falling down and getting up! But thats now what I'm doing. All I'm doing is fall down and then semi-stand and takes me so long to get up on my feet again.. I never fell down and stayed! But I know this time its different! Its…
You know, I hear a lot of people say they'll never vote for Hillary. Setting aside I totally disagree, let's examine the alternative: they make good on their threat, stay home on election day, and Trump wins. There could be quite a few openings on the Supreme Court, and he nominates total cavemen-thinking people to the court. So now, we're stuck for the next twenty years or so, with knuckle-draggers, who think the new testament is liberal bias, and we cannot allow Trump anywhere close to the corridors of power.
It might be different if the Dems controlled at least one branch of Congress, but they don't, so it's very likely they'll get confirmed. Then, we're dorked. So please, if you don't like Clinton, at least vote to protect the Democratic platform. Otherwise, we'll have to learn the speak Republicanese!
