P.S. I first wrote this story back in 2009, as with all the stories I write I "see" a visual story, like a film, then I endeavour to write it down, not always as successfully as I'd like. When I reached the end of this story it dawned on me where it could possibly be based, East Anglia. The camp and the flint mines do exist, in fact I found out that my brother had been on holiday to the camp, so I told him about the story. He informed me that he'd also done some maintenance work at the camp and there are indeed tunnels underneath that they use for service and supplies, he wasn't able to gain access and was told they'd been blocked up. So is there any truth to this story? That is for you to decide, just don't wait too long.
Ian has been dealing with 'it' for the longest time. Painful visions every week, ones he has to go through with. All pain for him, others seem to feel nothing. But what is 'it'? A blessing or a curse? Telepathy or something else?

So, this is not the first book I've written, but this is the first one I will post. This book is a fanfiction based off the game XCOM: Enemy Unknown, so the experience from reading this may be enhanced from playing the game or you may think it doesn't do the game justice and hate this book. If you don't like the book and want to comment, just say "I hate it", but no insult to my writing skills or imagination if you will. If you like the book, then I hope you'll keep reading.
I'm trying to keep this short, but... This book is finished, but I'm not posting the whole thing, in case there is anything I want to change in the story. For those that enjoy this, comment what you think will happen next or what you want to happen next and who knows, I may incorporate it into the story. My upload amount and rate will be determined by you, but like I said, as long as there's only one person reading I will continue to post the original story.
I think I've said enough, so I hope you'll enjoy and hopefully keep the comments free of too much hate.
