Trinidad and Tobago is a beautiful, diverse twin islands, the last of the Caribbean archipelago located just above Venezuela near South America, It's beauty is in it's melting pot of cultures and peoples living in harmony in a tropical paradise.
This one I think is my most personal poem. I made the voluntary choice to move away from California to the east coast, to leave behind a home I had spent almost my entire life there. I miss it more than I could ever express, and I'm happy to be visiting in September. Still, visiting is never the same as living there. Moving through every road, every coastline each day. It's painful.
A short observation on a commute at Manchester Victoria train station a few years ago. I liked how I was with such a diverse group of people, from different backgrounds, cultures, religions etc. yet we all had one common end of being on the same train.
