The following is a fan created scene based off of the play, Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare. I wrote this scene to explain the fight between Mercutio and Tybalt. Part of Shakespeare’s brilliance in his writing was his ability to allow his fans to decide the mood and personality of a character in the play. During the scene of the fight between Mercutio and Tybalt, Shakespeare had it so the fans could decide if they were literally fighting or if they were being humorous with each other. The fan made scene below is taken place before the fight, right after Mercutio and Romeo crashed an important party. The scene features only Mercutio and Tybalt outside after the party has ended and Romeo left to see his beloved Juliet. The following scene is all fan based and is not to be compared to the actual play. Please enjoy reading.
