My Dearest Julia

September Third, 1999

I'll miss you when you leave. It feels like I've known for many years there'd be a time when this town just didn't cut it. Your life has always intrigued me; being filled with such wonder and excitement, for living in a town with no life or recognition. Yet, you managed to remain here for almost exactly ten years. In fact, the day you are leaving will mark this occasion, I should prepare something as a going away gift, but that would seem odd: after all, we have never met. 

September Fourth, 1999

Ignore the last entry. That was Sebastian, my brother. Well, he feels like a brother anyway. I don't really get to control what he writes. I don't control him. I can't control our - his - mind. What I was going to write is Dr. Morris said that soon I should be able to meet you. For the first time. I haven't been stalking you, it's not my fault I always run into you where ever I go. Or that you're so pretty. It's normal to think that of someone, right? That they're so beautiful you can't leave them alone, and they take over your thoughts?

September Sixth, 1999

I apologize for yesterdays' absence, it was recommended the journal be given a days break to see what happens. Nothing happened, just the same as any usual day. Wake up around five a.m. to rise with the sunlight, eat a full breakfast, shower, and go to the room. From that point it's usually reading, but the selection is rather bland now: Treat
