standing stong, is how you get along. this is a story, of determination and over comming your fears.

I used to be pushed around, not anymore,

my courage was found.

I used to be teased, not anymore,

we grew up, our anger eased.

I used to be in pain, not anymore,

they had reasons, and explained.

I used to cry, thinking I'm going to die, not anymore.

I prayed, telling God I was afraid, he said,

you have a good life ahead.

And you know what, he was right,

now I don't have to fight.

Not anymore, not like before.

My fears where in blue,

my life is anew. Full of sunshine's rays

full of happy days. Days of smiles and laughter,

for now, and everafter.

Okie dokie! That was really good. Very good in fact. Watch your beat so the flow will work. But this was a very good poem.

Good, solid. More symbolism could be used, in my opinion. A specific event, without giving everything away, even. The writing is solid, but nothing is stand out. It seems to just skim the water, nothing too deep, though it has potential to be.

Thanks, but I like it the way it is. I didn't want to over do the poem to what it really was. This is true, I can't exgagerate the way I feel about a fact. =] nice comment

I really think I know how you feel. It was a greatly worded poem. I wrote one with a similar concept called 'Can it be? I'm free!'
