I wrote this poem about my grandma who was murdered April 20, 2012. She was like a mother to me, and when she died I felt like I lost my best friend. She was my rock and the one who was always there for me. I miss her more and more each day.

R.I.P Nanny. I love and miss you.

Until The End of Time

April 20, 2012

That's the day I got the news

I thought my life was going to end

I just couldn't live without you

Now I lie here wishing

You were given one more chance

You left so soon without goodbye

But I know God only takes the best

I don't see how someone could do that

It's really such a shame

I don’t know why they would want

To cause you so much pain

But they did

They took your life away

They caused this hole in my heart

And all the tears that remain

I miss you more than ever

A little more each day

But I continue to tell myself

That you are in a much better place

So I'll keep all of our memories

Embedded in my mind

And I'll keep you in my heart

Until the end of time
