I wont to put more light on racial prejudice

I wish I could find the words within me to end all racial prejudice. I guess you could say I had a dream and I believe in dreams. As did the man that had the greatest dream of all and that dream was about freedom. However, another man did not won’t to see that dream come true so on April 4 1968 he tried to end that dream but all he did was kill a very good man. However, He could not kill the dream; it will live on forever, and when Dr. King gave us that dream he gave it to us all not just one color of people. We are all one race; the human race but we describe ourselves as the white, the black, or the Asian race and so on, but we are all human so to me that means the human race. What will it take to make us under stand that? War and segregation does not work all it does is fragments a society. However when something bad such as a earth quake or flood or something like that happens it seems to bring us together and we turn to each other for help. Nevertheless, after the crisis is over we go back to the way we were before incident accrued. We have to learn to come together with out such things forcing us together. When we are forced together in such times as 911 we do not have time to get to know each other in the way that we need to. At times, like that, we are in fear of what might be next and that inhibits us in many ways. This earth has so much more to offer but we cannot see through the vial hate and prejudice. We keep blaming each other for things our ancestors done. And I will say this, if not for the Black man and the Asian man this world would not even be close to what is now. This country was born on the backs of slaves and we should pay them honor as we do all other grate people that do good things for the betterment of all humankind. We have to move forward and to do that we must let go the past, we cannot change the past but we can learn from it and try to keep it from repeating its self. When man learns to live together with out hate and prejudice we will take a leap forwards in evolution and knowledge and that will give us the tools to make our next grate pilgrimage to wherever that might be. What I am saying is we cannot build a brave new world from the ashes of the past. And that brave new world awaits us but it is not going to build its self. The slaves done a wonderful job at building a strong infrastructure and much, much more. However, I do not know if we can do as good of a job as the slaves did in fact I challenge all of us to do a better job on building a nation as they did.

As long as we, self-segregate in such large numbers as we do it is going to be hard to move forwards. There are many kids out their today that would love to be closer to their black or white neighbors but they are afraid of being shunned. By their on kind and our kids is the future they are the key to a brave new world. But if we do not turn that key and open the door we will continue down the same path we are now on and that path will some day come to an end and it might mean just that the end. It is time to open our eyes and look at the way the world is changing but we are not. In order for us to move forwards, we have to change along with the world. We know what works and what does not work but it seems to me we do not use that knowledge to our best of interest. End part one
