I stare into those midnight eyes

And feel my heart jump a beat.

He’s so different from the other guys

He makes me whole complete.

I see a woman before me

One with a heart and soul.

Within those golden eyes I see

The bride who makes me whole.

Gee, the guys like a god

Rich, mighty, the perfect body.

So why pick me? I feel so odd

When he can have almost anybody.

The first time I laid eyes on her

I knew she was the one.

And after just one kiss together

My life had just begun.

I’ve changed, well just a bit

Which I suppose is a good thing.

I love that man more than I admit

And blessed to wear his ring.

Two lost souls that have found each other

That’s what I would say.

Our love so whole yet so pure

I wouldn’t have it any other way.
