120 hours, 6 days, 5 sleeps

Less than a week, more than a few days

A drop in one's life

Merely a moment in time

A crying sky ends my reverie

Realization is sudden

My mood matches this slate sky

To taste a kiss, touch, scent, all tumbling

Behind my eyes

120 minutes... Only!/

Feels longer, what used to fly has become loadstone

Reality, squawking from a black box

Focus, my judgement, my life line

The silence chimes forward

Fatigue putts glossy windows to bed

End of day 1

72 hours

Day 3, exited yearning

Harried, but unmoving

3 days, no sound

Pacing recklessly, wanting

Denied

The day is still grey

Features crease at a thought

-I miss you-

Silly, jovial, distraught, heated

I feel less, dimmed light, no blaze

12 minutes later, same sky, sapphire showing

An illusion of water highlights the clouds

Closer

96 hours

1 sleep

The morning sun took me

Enveloped, blasting away all adversity

Warmth (you), speechless(you)

And I smile

Tomorrow, not far

Barely a thought

What was bleak, now "n'importe"

Laugh out loud, shake my head

Amber eyes and ivory, taste of satin

My palms are sweaty, mouth dry

The excitement

24 hours, hold on!

End of day 5

120 hours wink and it's gone

What a cruel lifetime
