Cool breahting becomes soft sigh

Then a moan of discomfort slips between limbs

Ever gaining strength, transforming into a howl

Watching, yet unable to partake

Yearning, yet unable to touch

Lonely, yet unable to feel

Anger flashes across the sky

Raw, savage, unimagined power

Booming voice ricochets from cloud to cloud

Making all shudder, tasting apprehension

The fury canbe felt, heard and seen

The breath, the voice, the light

Unchained strobe, illumination for an unseen vocalist

The strain of the endeavor

Depicted

Translucent gems, an ever-falling mass suicide

Their numbers so great, blanketing everything

It quenches, it cleanses, it heals

We call it... Rain
