Echoes on the wind

Filter through all spaces between limbs

A mechanized scream

Its pitch a shadow of its task

A giant, rooted eternally

Shudders in silent agony

Defenseless, a victim of progress

Can be heard embracing

Destiny with a thunderous crash

Echoes on the wind

Filter through all cracks

Same setting, yet different

Organic becomes inorganic

Behold the concrete jungle

NAture, a commodity, a simple possession

Forgotten in a disposable society

Left to die, comforted by only hollow words

Echoes on the wind

Nursing cries of the mute

Floating down halls, oozing from rooms

Cylinder of plastic, crowned by stiletto of metal

Containing a lethal liquid

A solution to a moral problem

Attaining the goal is effortless

a slow regulated push...

Touchdown

Unknown stays that way

Another product in a throw away society

Echoes on the wind

If you stop and listen

You can hear them
