My eyes are awash

In evergreen

A lover's embrace

With the wind

The innocence of the wild

Even as my breath

Is caught by the chill

Hunched peaks

Envelop

And a sensation

Sparkles

From deep in my being

I experience

This epifany

White powder carpet

Covers the mirror I sit upon

The trees, the cliffs, the snow

The lake

Paused in this scene

Osmosis

Hungrily consuming

What I did not

Believe or know I lacked...
