The bright clouds of my motherland,

Turns gray high above the sand.

I and my friend run to the garden;

To celebrate the clouds feast, hiding from the warden

The pure drizzle falls on my cheeks,

I glance at the sky to seek

The full chill of the rain.

My friend beside me was very sane;

That she pulled me away from the rain

I went in, my mind filled with vain

As there was no one to blame,

I obeyed her words with shame.

And stayed inside----

Away from the rain.
