Wildlife Beseeches

By Annie

Beneath the soft, silky and rough exterior,

Lies a heart that is humble, pure and dear.

His kind he protects,

His pack he directs,

Away from danger, harm and death.

No harm is intended by this beautiful species,

That God has created in marvelous variety.

The colors were many, white, grey, red and black,

But they slowly went decreasing,

Due to men's constant attacks.

Man destroys what he fears,

And fears what he does not understand.

Don't be scared,

Don't be upset,

He only wants to be your friend.

Wildlife is full of many colors,

And Wildlife is full of many wonders.

If only people would take the time to learn and admire God's creation,

They would not waste time on pointless abomination.

Let's learn to love the Creator and His Creation,

And the ones that reside in its Forests and Jungles.

Instead of fearing, killing, and destroying them ...

...and the places they call Home.
