It would wait for it, if it could love
If it could see it for what it was;

It would give it the world, the breath, the sun

If it would take choices, make them undone

It knows that there's love in every heart

And that it has felt something from the start

But it is stubborn, is foolish, and young

It will never falter, doubt the things done

It will whisper lies that it will believe

It knows what's wrong but loves it to decieve

Because it knows it will wait forever

It tricks it by day and feeds it nevers

Raised up on lies its' love never grew strong

It never had strength to tell it was wrong

It had all of its' hopes, its' dreams, its' trust

But it turned them into ropes, schemes, and dust

It took all it dished, all of it could take

It nurtured secrets of love it could make

It had no intentions of loving it

But it was useless to stop the sparks lit

It believed in it, it loved afterall

Though it's now empty it fell for the fall.

It could wait for it, if it would love
If it would see it for who it was.
