Things can always compare: we're all common as air.

And if life's unfair?
No one cares.
If your heart tears?
You're tarnished wares.
Too much to bear?
Suicide's a dare.
What?
It's not that rare.

Death's just a temptress, beckoning us to undress.

Did you remember to confess?
No, I left a mess.
Was it a lover's last caress?
No, I feared success.
Is it like we guessed?
No, just darkness.
What?
I mean, yes.

I never thought words would result in reality blurred.

How much was overheard?
Enough to make death preferred.
Could you have been deterred?
I just flew like a bird.
No, your caged, interred!
Don't be absurd.
What?
I didn't say a word.
