this one is inspired. one of the few not drawn from my own life.

Looking down, blood everywhere
Surrounded by hurt, by pain… she can feel her heart sinking
Bodies on the floor, the ones once loved lay lifeless
Eyes open wide… starring into the nothingness that has consumed them
She can feel herself sinking, heart breaking
Love falling from her heart soaking into the stained wood floor
Her mind fills with resentment and revenge
Hatred for the one who has broken her family
She will find the one who has taken them
Removed everyone in her life, no one left to consol her broken mind
She holds onto her soul with great force
Clearing her thoughts from the circles pulling them in
Feeling the colors surrounding her, pulling her into its grips
Longing for the days past, the familiar smiles to guide her
Heart racing, pulse slowing… she knows that she must avenge
Her reflection in the mirror is deafening
Glowing red… silver sparkling in her hand
Her mind running in circles, she can’t find her place
Falling to the floor… Soaked in the souls of her surroundings
Blood seeping into her veins, she can see her future clearly now
With one swipe of her arm, the deepest breath filling her lungs
Overtaken the air is replaced by blood, by hate for herself
Mind torn in two, the better half taking over her now… too late
Darkness surrounding her, fate setting in
She has killed many unknowingly …
Now she will take her own soul
Her revenge is to her own
Fallen fate with the withering of life’s own internal flowers
