The secrets I keep inside become a lot to bear
Holding in how I feel, the love I want to release
I want to tell you, to let you hold me
To hear you tell me too that you love me too
Knowing that your loyalty runs deep, feeling your love for me too
It’s the spoken words that we keep hidden
The times of lust that we do not share with the world… with each other
I want to truly feel you hold me, embrace me in your safeness
The years past have made it hard to hold on to my secrets
The love that I have for you, wanting to cross that line
Hidden lines drawn all over as boundries
Stopping us from moving forward
They play games with my mind, my heart
Pulling up walls, waiting for you to come tear them down
Knowing that I can open for you… my door is never closed
My mouth wanting to speak though my lungs are too tight
I can write it in words, pour my heart out to the paper
Allowing you to see inside me, the truth… the pain
The yearn that I have for you
The three words we speak, meaning no more to you then a sentence
A phrase that shows your care… who you are
Veins running deep with reasons to build another wall… a fortress
One that I will not allow to be torn down
Strong and sturdy… no windows, no doors
The elegance of a woman with the strength of a man
Of man of your caring, of your importance to me
My importance to you
My heart will sink to the bottom of the ocean for you
I will not ruin the future, the past nor the present
I will keep my secrets… my roots are buried
The earth will hold me tight, tight in the place were I belong
