My last clamber in time

One final seeking symptom

A light nowhere in the distance

Nature nor mind

Shadows of colossal mass

Mind in thought for one time last

Moon does petty shining

Here, now

Forward till naught

Succumbing to ends distraught

Highways of black unpaved always and never

Soon lost

Songs screaming in mind

So in a chant skyward

Melodious thoughts do Howl

Shooting down beautifully perched black-eyed croaking sparrows

Visions of ocean and balmy beach

Echoes of one McCaw’s screech

Clear cut words of land and truth

One eye open

This fragrance mind

Now in liquors of milky white dreams subsides

And till morning’s reborn

Searches unknown
