Walking the path without a lantern or a guide
I trip and stumble and began to lose my sight
The walls start to close in and become my tomb
Now I am back inside that dark crimson room

Time slowly ticks away, each minute becoming yours
I'm lost and locked behind these dying doors
Now the fog outside the windows seep into my soul
Making the path darker and steadily cold

I feel this world will become the untimely death of me
I lie upon the silver bed and think of all my words and deeds
Racing against the sun, I know that the dawn will seep in
I cannot fight these outside forces, so I let them take my sins

Now the angles are a part of me, I feel like I can fly
Above the darkness below I will soar and say good-byes
On the gloaming seas are where the harps play
Near the beautiful island containing the room where I once stayed
