Winds flow through the branches as the ashes fall
Fields burn as the masses hide from vengeance
The patience of our gods has fallen away
And we become a former shell of what was once here

Graves dot the land and darkness fills the horizon
Stars fall out of the sky and the moon slips away
The sun we once knew has now grown cold
Our hearts turn bitter and we curse idols we once adored

But somewhere out there magic is still present
Calling for someone to recognize its being
No shape or form can sustain where it lies
Inside our being is the house of healing we seek
