As you can see in my profile pic, I like to ride. Been riding for over twenty years and I attempted to capture my feeling of the ride.

A look at the clock feeds longing

Well seen by a knowing eye

The day of clarity tempered

With boredom shown on blue sky

Social preachers all scurry home

In the wake of life's violent storm

Though some prefer to live by riding

The road is only then its true form

The freedom it offers confuse outsiders

Where all they see with ignorant eyes

The faithful in line to devotion

Decide who shall hear their cries

Souls in sync with a common bond

Expressed through a wave of their glove

The greeting of the chosen today

As they pass in positions they love

For this is a journey they will live

Til daily creep leaves them old

Friends in time who lean with pride

For a story of riding now told
