Fell asleep a long time ago but I'm waking people up
Open door opportunities but everybody's doors seem to be shut
Are you really giving up? Or does nothing really matter?
If you throw a water balloon at a wall, can you tell me if it splatters?
Or does it make a sound?
Especially if nobody is around
Did you know if you cut a dog loose, it might end up in a pound?
Rain drops on flower petals
Brown past with equals rusted metals
You are obligated to many choices
But are you willing to listen to the unfamiliar voices?

In your head
Or under your bed
While your sleep or writing something instead
Your favorite color is red because from the body, blood leaks
If blood was a human, could you tell me if it sleeps?
Or is it awake? Ready to shake and bake
Ground breaking like an earthquake
Thick, creamy goodness of a milkshake

You got it or we got?
Is it she shops and he bought?
We think and they thought?
She catches but he's caught?
Answer the following questions
There's nothing wrong with suggestions
Second guessing or even miscalculated facts
Or the missing clues of the left given tracks
Our world would start wet but end dry
No answers but only asking "why?"
The world is dripping I bet
Like some water it just met
When I close my eyes, the flowers fry
But when I touch the soil, the flowers cry
