Get up, you whisper, sleep in your navy eyes parked between the dark spark of concern and the little light one of joy. Let that one go, the light one, let it be tinder for forest fires let it happen upon dry and ripe kindling like that day deep in the countryside of what was Kent County when my dad and me set the rows of cedars ablaze. He shrugged. It was a proud shrug.
